Beeswax Products Care and Instructions
Care
Rinse with cool to lukewarm water. If you need to use soap, lather a cloth or sponge gentle soap, wipe the wrap or bag, rinse with lukewarm water, and air dry.
Do not soak in water, or wash in the dishwasher or washing machine. Special note for washing the waxed bags, please dry upside down so any left over water can come out of the top of the bag.
We do not suggest use with raw meat. Make sure food has cooled down before storing in wraps or bags. Not intended for use with heat or microwave.
Your wraps will last a year or longer with proper care - and are biodegradable and compost friendly at the end of their life. Cut them into small straps to break down faster. Alternatively, they can be used as firestarters.
WAXING BLOCK INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 250 f. Line a cookie sheet with tin foil (or have a dedicated pan). Place wrap on pan and grate wax block directly onto the wrap. Place the wrap/pan in the oven, and let it heat up for approximately 30 seconds, or until the wrap looks 'wet'. Remove pan from heat, and remove wrap from the pan (be careful, it is hot!!). 'Air dry' in your hands or hang to dry.
